What changed in ShieldPlay

A detailed record of product, reliability and anti-false-positive work currently delivered in the project.

01

August 2026 · ShieldPlay identity and delivery

Introduced the ShieldPlay visual identity across the landing experience, authenticated dashboard, login, favicon and mobile browser icon. The Paper descriptor and in-game GUI now use the ShieldPlay name and shield visual language while retaining the existing plugin identifier for installation compatibility.

  • Original shield/check/pixel-grid mark.
  • Public Download destination for the agent JAR.
  • Improved public documentation, API reference and footer pages.
02

August 2026 · X-Ray notifications and control

Added native Discord webhook notifications for review-only X-Ray flags. Discord payloads use safe embeds with disabled mentions, configurable title, description and RGB color. Each webhook has a persisted cooldown so a raid or burst cannot flood the notification channel.

  • Dashboard Webhooks exposes Flag X-Ray and a no-game Test action.
  • Owner can select monitored vanilla rare ores per server or return to config.yml.
  • X-Ray configuration supports controlled Discord presentation and a 15–600 second cooldown.
03

August 2026 · Evidence-based X-Ray pattern

Replaced the cumulative X-Ray ratio with an event-driven mining pattern. It requires multiple concurrent conditions: block volume, concealed rare-ore count, density and burst duration. Ores exposed to air, water or lava are excluded, and the signal remains staff-review only.

  • Player mining samples use a bounded time window.
  • Staff receive player, ore, concealed-count and burst evidence in their configured language.
  • X-Ray is no longer evaluated from player movement ticks.
04

August 2026 · Geometric Hitbox validation

Replaced the unsafe rotation-angle proxy with a pure ray-versus-expanded-AABB computation. The attack sample captures eye origin, normalized look direction and current target server bounding box. It requires repeated clear misses and skips unstable environments and transitions.

  • Ping and TPS-bounded hitbox expansion.
  • Fresh sample, maximum trace distance and grace windows.
  • Deterministic geometry tests for hits, misses, axis-parallel rays, box expansion and distance boundaries.
05

August 2026 · Anti-false-positive hardening

Combat heuristics are now review-only and excluded from automatic punishment eligibility. The backend caps review-only confidence and requires sustained, independent and multi-category eligible evidence before it can consider automatic sanctions. Correlation cannot independently satisfy the threshold.

  • More contextual exclusions for Reach.
  • Longer and larger sample requirements for AutoClicker.
  • Staff exemptions stop profiling, correlation and reporting for the exact selected check.
06

August 2026 · Platform reliability

Removed interactive database transactions from unban flows after observed timeout behavior. The agent applies HTTP backpressure, controlled request concurrency, more realistic request timeouts, slower non-critical telemetry and staggered offline replay. Unbans are persisted and propagated to Paper profile pardon handling for online and offline players.

  • Reduced dashboard initial JavaScript by lazy-loading chart dependencies.
  • Centralized dashboard polling with backoff and query reuse.
  • Production billing checkout and signed Stripe webhook flow configured server-side.
